Fagforbundet wanted to strengthen communication and cooperation with its 18,000 union representatives. The goal was to implement solutions quickly and with minimal risk, to ensure success from the start of the project and roll it out efficiently. The project had an ambitious roadmap and had to be flexible enough to scale to meet the demands of further development.

What was done?
Fagforbundet chose Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft Portals to establish a secure union representative portal with a very user-adapted interface, for information sharing and case management, among other things. With a roadmap, benefit plan and risk assessments for guidelines, they stood firm in the project implementation, and established the first phase on time and cost.
Result
The result of the collaboration between Fagforbundet and Evidi is a portal that strengthens the role of the union representatives and contributes to a better working life for the members. The KLAR portal is firmly anchored among both Fagforbundets representatives and managers, and provides effective support for case management and security in secure information management. The portal is based on Power Pages (low-code SaaS solution in Power Platform) and Dataverse. Fagforbundets ambitious vision of digitalization forms the basis for the technical choices that have been made, and means that new opportunities are quickly delivered to users. With the solution, the professional system is lifted into an accessible and secure interface.
What is Fagforbundet?
Fagforbundet is Norway's largest trade union organization, with over 400 employees and 400,000 members distributed throughout the country. The union has a role in ensuring its members a good working life with fair pay and working conditions. The role of the union is, among other things, to speak on behalf of its members and negotiate wages and rights on behalf of its members.
What is KLAR?
The KLAR portal was developed by Evidi together with Fagforbundet to give the union representatives access to updated member data and to work with the members' issues. KLAR stands for KLubbstyret's ArbeidsRom (the club board member room), and is built on an architecture that includes a complex data model. The portal holds member data and case management, as well as the complete organizational culture, with roles and relationships between the organization and members.
